Death Is Not A Guarantee (For Jesus’ People)

G386 “Resurrection”

Meaning: From G450; a standing up again, that is, (literally) a resurrection from death (individual, general or by implication (its author)), or (figuratively) a (moral) recovery (of spiritual truth): - raised to life again, resurrection, rise from the dead, that should rise, rising again.

Death Gains a Stronghold on Mankind, through Mankind’s Sin.

Gene. 2:17; -The truth

Gen. 3:3; - The truth again

Gen 3:4, -Satan tempts

Gen. 3:14-19; - Ground cursed, satan cursed, humans to return to dust.

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Death is Defeated with the Death, Burial, and Resurrection Of Jesus Christ

John 19:1, 17, 18, 30 – Jesus suffers for us, and dies without deserving death.

John 20:12-16 – Jesus is not dead, but alive forever more.

John 6:50 – Bread of Life

Jesus is the Resurrection –our natural death no longer means spiritual death. Will YOU believe HIM?

Joh 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

Joh 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Your belief in Jesus the Life is what allows you to partake in eternal life!

See John 11:47-53- The high priest of the Sanhedrin has no idea that what he’s saying is truly prophetic of Jesus dying for the nation and also the nations.

See Romans 8:13 – do not live after the flesh, this is death. Follow after the Spirit, and LIVE!

Natural Death Is Not a Guarantee for Christians Today: The King Is Coming!

1 Thessalonians 4:14-18

1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Jesus coming with the saints, all shall see Him, those who are alive will be caught up to meet Him and be with Him, and welcome Him on earth again.

We may still be alive on the earth when Jesus Returns! This means we escape death in the natural. But even if our body does die, we are born-again believers. This means our spirit lives eternally with the Lord. He will raise your body up again in the Day of the Lord! Either way, whether we live or die, we do so for the Lord. We do not need to fear a defeated enemy such as death.

G4862 “with” σύν

Pronounced: “soon”

A primary preposition denoting union; with or together (but much closer than G3326 or G3844), that is, by association, companionship, process, resemblance, possession, instrumentality, addition, etc.: - beside, with. In compounds it has similar applications, including completeness.

Read 2 Cor. 1:10 – He will yet deliver.

See 1 John 3:2- We shall see Him as He is.

Death Dies

1 Cor. 15:55,56

1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1Co 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Goodbye death, Jesus rules! Let's get ready to meet and be WITH Jesus forever. His return is very Near!
