KINGDOM PARTNERSHIPS

• God’s wisdom stands alone as the Key to successful living!

Proverbs 2:6-8 (English Standard Version)

⁶For the LORD gives wisdom;
   from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;
⁷he stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
   he is a shield to those who walk in integrity,
⁸guarding the paths of justice
   and watching over the way of his saints.

• The reign of Christ is the eventual destiny of all nations.

• Every knee will bow in acknowledgement of His glory and wisdom.

James 1:5-7 (English Standard Version)

 ⁵ If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. ⁶But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. ⁷For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;

• The Kingdom of God is being extended in the earth at present by those who hear and obey His commands.

• We need to consider today, the distinctives of the Kingdom of God in its approach to the economic order.

Proverbs 9:10-11 (English Standard Version)

¹⁰ The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,
   and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
¹¹For by me your days will be multiplied,
   and years will be added to your life.

• God’s Kingdom Partnerships are unique, one of a kind, no where else are they imitated in time and space.

• God’s Kingdom Partnerships – means a working together with God and one another.

• THE FULL DISPLAY – MIRRORED NINE TIMES IN GOD’S KINGDOM PARTNERSHIPS:

1. God and Man (As seen in Eden and Adam – Compared To The Last Adam - The God Man Christ Jesus)

2. Natural Family and the - Spiritual Family (Or The Local Church)

3. Our Natural Nation and the – Holy Nation (The Kingdom of God)

4. Natural Partnership Agreements and the – Blood Of The Everlasting Covenant in the: (The Word of God – Both Written and Living)

5. The New Covenant (New Testament) is in the Old Covenant Concealed

6. The Old Covenant (Old Testament) is in the New Covenant Revealed

7. The Old Man (Carnal) Nature must die – So that the New (Creation) Man might be made alive – Born Again by the will and Holy Spirit of God

8. Natural and Historical Jerusalem, Israel – now we have come to Mount Zion the City of the Living God – The New Jerusalem

9. The Old Tabernacle of Witness (under Moses) – Fulfilled in Christ Jesus – The Overcoming Man In The Throne – Christ in us the Hope of Glory!

• Maturation, is the growth process towards full development.

• HOW IS BUSINESS?

• Business Ethics, are the moral standards which govern your own business activities.

• The Kingdom of God involves a partnership which each believer has with his God, in running his own ‘business”.

2 Corinthians 6:1 (English Standard Version)

 ¹ Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

• God’s unequivocal statement is that man is created in the likeness or image of God.

Genesis 1:26-28 (English Standard Version)

 ²⁶Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

• God commissioned man to steward His entire creation.

• This commission calls every individual in Christ to be “in business” with the Father.

• That is, we are called to be fruitful, productive partners with our Lord.

• As we steward appropriately all that God has invested in us – as His Kingdom Partners, we are to be part of extending His interests into all of the earth.

• The Kingdom of God raises up leaders who will govern according to His own design for each sphere of life.

 ⁴Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; ⁵and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; ⁶and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. ⁷ To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. ⁸For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, ⁹to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, ¹⁰to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. ¹¹All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.

• Yes – God equips individuals to govern and function in the light of God’s designs and purposes.

• The earth is the Lord’s!

Psalm 24:1 (English Standard Version

 ¹ The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof,
   the world and those who dwell therein,

• The Lord belongs to no one but Himself:

• Individuals and nations are expected to govern themselves under God’s ultimate authority.

²¹ He was driven from among the children of mankind, and his mind was made like that of a beast, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. He was fed grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, until he knew that the Most High God rules the kingdom of mankind and sets over it whom he will.

• The family is an expression of God’s government, it is the basic building unit of a healthy culture and society.

Ephesians 6:4 (English Standard Version)

⁴ Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

• Next – The spiritual family, the local church governs and serves by equipping Christians to relate properly and serve their society in all areas of life.

1 Corinthians 4:15-17 (English Standard Version)

¹⁵For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel. ¹⁶I urge you, then, be imitators of me. ¹⁷That is why I sent you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, to remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach them everywhere in every church.

• Also – proper stewardship of private property, expresses God’s ruler ship on both:

1. The Personal Level

2. The Societal Level

• This builds strong nations!

• Local leaders need to apply God’s wisdom in the local community.

• The Kingdom of God promotes:

1. Maturation of Individuals

2. In contrast to mere financial profit as your life’s goal.

Matthew 25:14-30 (English Standard Version)

The Parable of the Talents

 ¹⁴ "For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted to them his property. ¹⁵To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. ¹⁶He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. ¹⁷So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. ¹⁸But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master’s money. ¹⁹Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. ²⁰And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, 'Master, you delivered to me five talents; here I have made five talents more.' ²¹His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. • We are to:

1. Develop our gifts

2. Develop our callings

3. Provide Service and Productivity

4. For the benefit of all peoples

Luke 16:1-13 (English Standard Version)

Luke 16

The Parable of the Dishonest Manager

 ¹He also said to the disciples, "There was a rich man who had a manager, and charges were brought to him that this man was wasting his possessions. ²And he called him and said to him, 'What is this that I hear about you? Turn in the account of your management, for you can no longer be manager.' ³And the manager said to himself, 'What shall I do, since my master is taking the management away from me? I am not strong enough to dig, and I am ashamed to beg. ⁴I have decided what to do, so that when I am removed from management, people may receive me into their houses.' ⁵So, summoning his master’s debtors one by one, he said to the first, 'How much do you owe my master?' ⁶He said, 'A hundred measures of oil.' He said to him, 'Take your bill, and sit down quickly and write fifty.' ⁷Then he said to another, 'And how much do you owe?' He said, 'A hundred measures of wheat.' He said to him, 'Take your bill, and write eighty.' ⁸The master commended the dishonest manager for his shrewdness.  ¹⁰ "One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. ¹¹If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches? ¹²And if you have not been faithful in that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own? ¹³ No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money."

• God urges us to develop the creativity which He gives us out of His own creative nature.

Colossians 3:23-24 (English Standard Version)

²³ Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, ²⁴knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

• God reveals and shows us how to work as stewards of privately held properties or goods instead of as owners.

Ephesians 2:10 (English Standard Version)

¹⁰For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

1. Then - God leads us to embrace ownership (as stewards) or proprietorial participation in work/

2. Often people simply see themselves just as “workers,” just doing their “job.”

3. Folk often fail so see God’s trust in them by “entrusting” to them a creative involvement in their work.

4. This capacity for individual productivity is associated with having a proper sense of self-worth before God.

5. This is also associated with having a “place” in God’s Kingdom or in God’s Marketplace that is designed uniquely for them.

6. To the extent that we actively seek the Kingdom of God in the areas of business and economics, will be the extent that we will experience certain measureable results.

Ephesians 6:7-9 (English Standard Version)

⁷ rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man, ⁸ knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. ⁹Masters, do the same to them, and stop your threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and that there is no partiality with him.

• We will experience strong leadership in God’s Kingdom, as owners and managers see themselves as servants of others.

• Serving others is promoting God’s calling and best interests in their lives.

Colossians 3:17 (English Standard Version)

¹⁷And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

• The establishment of a strong business ethic in the daily activity of the marketplace stimulates productivity and fruitfulness.

• God seeks leaders who will:

1. Emphasize godly ownership.

2. The application of creative abilities.

3. The maturation of all those who participate.

• These Kingdom of God principles, are vastly different from today’s marketplace’s:

1. Survival of the fittest.

2. Selfish ‘me first’ – and other descriptive phrases like …

3. “Show Me The Money”!

• Christ’s Kingdom builds strong:

1. Nations

2. Families

3. Family businesses

4. Local Churches or Spiritual Families

5. Individuals

CONCLUSIONS:

• The Lord Himself:

  1. Delights to work.

  2. Develops Partnerships with His Children.

  3. Matures the Gifts in His Children.

  4. Develops His Callings in them!

He Is The Worker – God!

• God seeks to establish:

  1. His Partnerships as …

  2. His Expression of …

  3. His Government on earth …

1. For Individuals

2. For Families

3. For Local Churches or Spiritual Families

4. For The Stewardship of Private Properties

5. For The Businesses He Entrusts to His Children

• This partnership with God leads to our own maturation as we learn to walk with Him, and please Him in the marketplace.

• We become creatively involved with the living God in the midst of our marketplace sphere.

This enables us to develop into strong leaders … Luke 19:13 (English Standard Version)

• … who are looking for ways to serve others and promote God’s interests, with in our own sphere of business.

• So do you want to become God’s Kingdom Partners?

• Do you want to succeed as God’s Kingdom Partners?

• Do you want to mature and develop as a Kingdom Partner of God?

• Do you want to be successful in your Call of God?

• Tonight you can receive your Kingdom Partnership as God’ Child and Partner!

• Come Right Now – and Receive Your Divine Impartation and Kingdom Partnership in God, as we will agree together in PRAYER through JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD!
