Ecc 3:1

To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Ecc 3:17

I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for [there is] a time there for every purpose and for every work.

Today many misplaced Canadian Youth are
Torn Between Absolute Truth And Relationships

Remember this coming

CANADA DAY

July 1st, 2013 - here is a way to re-engage and reach out to Canadian Youth, by asking them ...

  1. What Latin words are on the Canadian Coat Of Arms?

  2. What reference do these words come from?

  3. When were these Latin words put on the Coat Of Arms?

ANSWER:The present design of the arms of Canada was drawn by Mrs. Cathy Bursey-Sabourin, Fraser Herald at the Canadian Heraldic Authority, office of the Governor General of Canada, and faithfully depicts the arms described in the words of the Royal Proclamation dated November 21, 1921. The motto of the Dominion of Canada is A MARI USQUE AD MARE which is officially translated "From Sea to Sea" and "D'un océan à l'autre."

Psa 72:8

He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

The present design was approved in 1994 and shows a ribbon behind the shield with the motto of the Order of Canada, DESIDERANTES MELIOREM PATRIAM (They desire a better country) – (the Epistle to the Hebrews, chapter 11 verse 16).  This version replaces a former design drawn by Mr. Alan Beddoe.” http://www.pch.gc.ca/pgm/ceem-cced/symbl/arm1-eng.cfm

  1. The Lion and Unicorn represent what modern and ancient nations? Where are these nations located?

Num 23:22

God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.

Num 23:24

Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat [of] the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.

Deu 33:17

His glory [is like] the firstling of his bullock, and his horns [are like] the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they [are] the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they [are] the thousands of Manasseh.

Whatever the "raem" originally was it became identified with the unicorn and together with the lion these two were used as symbols of Britain.

Including Scotland

Detail from synagogue ceiling, in Hodorov (in Poland?), 17th-c. reconstruction. Picture depicts a lion and unicorn.

The lion is kissing the horn of the unicorn -perhaps indicating the reunification of Judah and Joseph?

  1. Words written over the windows of the Peace Tower are…?

  2. What are their references… the Peace Tower is officially known as…? The Tower Of Peace And Victory http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peace_Tower

(above) On the front face of the Peace Tower, it quotes Psalm 72:1: “GIVE THE KING THY JUDGMENTS O GOD AND THY RIGHTEOUSNESS UNTO THE KINGS SON”. This is the window arch that can be seen on our 20-dollar bill. Below, a portion is enlarged and highlighted:

(above) The right-hand face of the Peace Tower quotes a part of Psalm 72:8: “HE SHALL HAVE DOMINION ALSO FROM SEA TO SEA”. This verse influenced the original name of our country, “The Dominion of Canada”. Below is an enlarged and highlighted portion of the above picture.

The motto for the Dominion of Canada is what?

  1. The Memorial Chamber holds the Altar of Sacrifice, and the Call to Arms – what words are inscribed there?

  2. What are the references of those words?

(above) In the Peace Tower, is a Memorial Chamber that honours the Canadian Soldiers who gave their lives for their country in the various wars. In the center of this room stands the “Altar of Sacrifice” as seen in this photo. This altar has a display case which houses a book of the names of every soldier who fought in WWI. It has two Christian inscriptions on it, one from Ephesians 6:13, and one from John Bunyan's Christian story,“Pilgrim's Progress”. In addition, Canada's original coat of arms is on the side of the altar. In Latin, the coat of arms declares “From Sea to Sea”. This is a reference to Psalm 72:8. Since that time, in 1994, the Government also added a verse from the book of Hebrews chapter 11 to the coat of arms.

(above) A detail of the stained-glass windows in the Peace Tower's Memorial chamber. Here you can see the scriptures on the windows, which are taken directly from Psalm 46:9 “He maketh wars to cease” and Psalm 94:15 “Judgement shall return unto righteousness.”

  1. What Latin words are etched and carried on the front of every Canadian passport? What is their reference?

A MARI USQUE AD MARE Psalm 72:8

DESIDERANTES MELIOREM PATRIAM Hebrews 11:16

Canadians are carrying God’s Word to the ends of the earth.
